Your role

Are you a diligent professional with commitment to high quality work? Do you have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement while focusing on execution?

We’re looking for a product onboarding specialist to:

• manage end-to-end onboarding process for new funds and administrators for UBS WMA platform
• serve as primary point of contact during the onboarding process, providing all relevant documents and status updates
• be responsible for structuring the operational workflow and relationship expectations with funds and administrators to streamline our clients experience while investing in alternative investment products.
• work with strategic internal and external partners such as the product structuring team, Alts Capabilities (operations) team, IT, Fund companies, and administrators
• continuously improve onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and reduce onboarding time to market

Detailed salary information:
• New York: the salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000.

Your team

UGA provides alternative investment solutions for high-net-worth clients of UBS Wealth Management US. WM US Alternative Investments business has over $85 billion in assets under control across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, REITs, BDCs, exchange funds and managed futures. Products range from privately placed offerings to registered public offerings like REITs/BDCs. The UGA Product Onboarding team is responsible for the operational onboarding of funds and administrators on to the UBS WMA platform and the continued operational relationship management with those fund managers and their administrators. Tasks range from fund set up for launch on the subscription platform to problem solving daily issues to contributing to long term strategic plans/technology builds to enhance the business.
Our team works with strategic internal and external partners such as the Structuring team, Alts Capabilities team, internal and external IT support vendors, Fund companies, and administrators to on-board new product to the UBS WMA Alts. platform.

Your expertise

• bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline.
• ideally 2+ years of experience in alternative investments, high net worth clients, operations, transactional processing and/or wealth management operations, preferably on another broker dealer/bank platform.
• advanced skills in Excel, Word, and SharePoint
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• positive, with a can-do attitude that motivates and inspires others
• experience with process improvements and ability to execute
• able to understand processes and you are strong at mapping out requirements and end-to-end assessments with the end goal of identifying gaps
• self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
