Your Role:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll oversee our housekeeping team to ensure every room and guest area reflects The Sundays’ commitment to cleanliness and comfort. You’ll work closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless room readiness while fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Supervise housekeeping operations to deliver exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet The Sundays’ high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to manage room readiness, including VIP and special guest requirements.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance to identify development needs.
- Oversee rosters to ensure operational demands are met.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
- Perform Room Attendant duties when operationally required.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.
To be successful, you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in housekeeping operations (essential).
- Previous supervisory and/or training experience in a hotel environment (essential).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Physically fit to perform the role’s duties, including carrying a 10kg back-mounted vacuum cleaner.
- Flexibility to work within a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays.
