ABOUT YOUR ROLE

 

Our Maintenance Team are responsible for providing best practice support and customer service across the Production and Maintenance departments, and we have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Maintenance Electrician at our bustling Northmead site.

This is a full-time role with the flexibility to work a 24/5 and 24/7 roster as required based at our Northmead factory where you'll find an onsite cafe and have access to free parking and free drinks!

This role is a key driver for delivering detailed maintenance skills that support our Site to achieve optimal equipment uptime.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Complete all maintenance, inspection and repair tasks as allocated on all aspects of the site plant and equipment.
  • Effective and timely completion of all plant and equipment maintenance and repair tasks as set by the Maintenance Manager, Team Managers & Planner.
  • Review and analyse maintenance work performed to determine negative trends and develop action plans to correct.
  • Completion of all applicable documentation within given timescales
  • Contribute and lead if required, any RCA and reliability based tasks on site as appropriate.
  • Engage operations and maintenance staff to provide sharing knowledge and experience.

 

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU!

  • Trade Qualifications with the relevant Electrical License
  • Manufacturing or FMCG process knowledge and experience.
  • Previous experience with continuous high speed processing and packaging equipment in an industrial production environment.
  • Relevant experience in a continuous process industrial electrical environment.
  • Proven PLC programming and fault finding skills.
  • Extensive electrical fault finding skills.
  • Ability to read and produce electrical schematics.
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 3000, the Electrical Safety Act, the Electrical Safety Regulation and the Electrical Code of Practice
  • Constructive two-way engagement with all stakeholders and sites
  • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities required to build the necessary relationships with peers, operations and maintenance lead team.
  • High level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem solving skills (root cause analysis, FMECA, process improvements & corrective actions)
