HHA Coordinator - Full-time *Spanish Speaking a Plus!!
Utopia Home Care is a well established, growing home care agency servicing patients throughout the state of CT. We operate 6 branch offices and provide staffing for 8 assisted living facilities.
Our Bridgeport, CT branch is a thriving business office where our staff work together as a team to match home health and clinical staff and assure our patients obtain the assistance they need to maintain wellness and age in place.

Qualifications:
- Home care experience or staffing agency experience highly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus!
- One year general business experience or equivalent CNA / HHA experience.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team player.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for arranging HHA schedules to meet the client’s needs within the assigned area of service, utilizing scheduling software.
- Evaluates accuracy of HHA flow sheets.
- Reviewing/verifying timesheets.
- Maintains accurate daily records of events and reports all significant events and/or problems to HHA Supervisor.
- Consults with the HHA Supervisor regarding problem areas
- Ensures client satisfaction by following protocol for resolving complaints or concerns about service.
- Assists with performance appraisals for paraprofessional staff at specified intervals in conjunction with the office manager/clinical supervisor.
- Completes all forms of written communication and maintain appropriate clinical and personnel records on a timely basis, and keep accurate attendance records on all paraprofessional staff.
- Serves as a role model in promoting a positive agency image.
- Voluntary rotating on-call schedule, which involves working weekends and assisting other on-call staff, patients and their families.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the HHA Supervisor / Administrator.
- Maintains compliance with all agency policies and procedures.
