Job Title: Handyman/Woman for ABA Clinics
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Woman to assist in our ABA clinics two days a week with options for up to 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance tasks, ensuring our clinics are well-maintained and welcoming for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble furniture and fixtures as needed
- Hang shelves and assist with minor installations
- Perform drywall repairs and touch-up painting
- Travel to various clinic locations within 1 hour from Alpharetta, GA
- Collaborate with clinic staff to address maintenance needs promptly
- 2 days with options for up to 5 days
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handyman services or related fields
- Ability to perform light maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check
- Carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills
- Experience in commercial contracting/business preferred

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a trade (carpentry, electrical, plumbing). Experience in commercial contracting/business preferred.
- Knowledge of Safety: Familiar with OSHA safety standards, child-safe materials, and best practices for minimizing hazards in child-centered spaces.
- Technical Ability: Comfortable with small repairs, basic troubleshooting, and using hand and power tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all spaces remain safe and functional for children, staff, and families.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with clinic staff and vendors.
- Adaptability: Respond quickly to changing priorities (e.g., immediate repairs in therapy rooms).
- Background Check: Must pass background screening, as required in healthcare/childcare environments.
