POSITION PURPOSE:
The Aftermarket Distribution & Warehouse Manager is a key member of the Milford Delaware Site Leadership Team and is responsible for leading and transforming the performance of BAC’s Aftermarket Distribution Center and Raw Material Warehouse. This role will build sustainable processes for order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and warehouse execution, while also ensuring raw materials are available for production scheduling. The Manager will lead frontline teams, implement SAP/WMS improvements, and drive measurable gains in on-time delivery, backlog reduction, and customer satisfaction.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Establishes and leads aftermarket warehouse operations, including order intake, kitting, picking, crating, quality control, and shipping.
- Implements daily management structure (Tier 1–3 huddles, dashboards, accountability routines).
- Ensures on-time delivery performance >95% and backlog <50 lines by implementing backlog reduction strategies.
- Oversees raw material warehouse operations, ensuring allocation rules (soft vs. hard reservations) and backflushing processes are executed reliably.
- Partners with Planning & Scheduling to align material availability with production orders.
- Leads implementation of WMS integrated with SAP; deploys RF scanners and barcoding to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Develops and enforces standard operating procedures to reduce errors and protect customer trust.
- Provides strong floor presence, coaching, and performance management for supervisors, leads, and hourly employees.
- Ensures cultural shift from reactive firefighting to disciplined, data-driven execution.
- Performs all other duties assigned by Plant Manager or senior leadership.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred) or Equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years’ leadership experience in warehouse and distribution operations, with aftermarket/spare parts strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in turnaround leadership, process improvement, and technology adoption.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP; WMS implementation experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Warehousing, Kaizen, and standard work.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data, establish KPIs, and drive accountability for results.
- Comfortable working both strategically and tactically in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
NATURE & SCOPE:
The Aftermarket Distribution & Warehouse Manager reports directly to the site Plant Manager. The position will have major interactions with all levels of the organization. Primary job functions require a high degree of independent judgment, strategic decision-making, and balancing of immediate operational demands with long-term transformation initiatives. Will supervise Team Leaders and warehouse associates across both the Aftermarket Distribution Center and Raw Material Warehouse
