Position Summary

As a Fixed Operations Specialist, you will generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current APCO accounts. Our District Managers nurture existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business and securing contracts, and maintaining healthy relationships. You will also be responsible for traveling to assigned accounts and potential accounts to provide sales support, training, coaching, compliance guidance and related services to dealerships, specific to their service center. They will perform a wide variety of duties to establish and maintain mutually beneficial, professional relationships with current dealer customers.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train and review product knowledge and best practices with dealership employees.
  • Build relationships and earn respect within all departments and at all levels within the dealership.
  • Must be able to communicate in an effective manner with dealership personnel in order to properly execute directives as given.
  • Work independently and manage work schedule while on assignment.
  • Complete Compliance review/training on all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
  • One on one training/coaching and development review

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
  • Field of Study: Business Administration or related field desirable but not required
  • 2+ years as Service Center Experience
  • Sales Management, GSM or GM Experience, preferred
  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales management or automotive finance management
  • Prior experience or are currently working in an automotive vendor setting
  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales and finance training
  • Prior experience or are currently working in automotive advertising or banking

Physical Demands

This position is an in-person sales position. Employee must be able to drive safely and without distraction, enter other places of business and move with ease in those spaces, including across large parking lots. Employee will be exposed to the weather for small amounts of time.
