The U.S. Coast Guard is embarking on a transformative modernization initiative to upgrade and integrate its logistics applications and workflows. This initiative will drive smarter decision-making, seamless system performance, and enhanced operational efficiency—all while maximizing the Coast Guard’s existing technology investments.
TechFlow Inc. seeks to hire a dynamic and mission-driven IT Program Manager to lead this effort. In this role, you’ll provide strategic program and project management support, including monitoring and analysis, enterprise-level planning, and architecture guidance, ensuring this critical initiative delivers measurable results and lasting impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Clarify program objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
- Establish and manage effective communication processes to ensure clear coordination and information sharing across all project stakeholders.
- Develop and submit key planning documents, including performance management, quality management, project management, configuration management, risk mitigation plans, and a project schedule.
- Prepare and deliver monthly progress reports documenting project status and milestones.
- Maintain and update the risk and issue log to support proactive project management.
- Provide documentation and support for development activities, ensuring updates to the product backlog, design deliverables, development prototypes, and product demos.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program or project management, supporting technology modernization or enterprise system initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
- Proven track record of planning and leading major technology assignments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance results and recommend changes that drive project success and growth.
- Experience functioning as a technical expert across multiple concurrent projects. Must have experience with Power Platform Tools, Data Migration and Integrations (APIs, Azure Data Factory, SQL, ETL/ELT tools).
- Experience managing system transitions or modernization programs without impacting mission-critical operations.
- Ability to lead or supervise project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Ability to obtain Common Access Card (CAC)
- This position requires Tier 1 government security investigation including favorable fingerprint check.
