Job Overview:
The Account Manager is the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and responsible for the overall health of our business relationship. This role connects with key business stakeholders, identifies upsell opportunities and exceeds revenue targets. The Account Manager has a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster strong client relationships. ?
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build a sustainable pipeline by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing accounts.??
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the main point of contact and advocating for their needs within the organization.?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic account plans aligned with clients' business objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of their goals and challenges.?
- Oversee contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring terms are favorable for both the client and the organization while adhering to company policies and standards.?
- Identify potential risks to client relationships and work proactively to mitigate churn, ensuring a stable and long-lasting partnership.?
- Maintain positive and proactive relationships with cross functional peers.
- Provide voice of the customer feedback to the entire organization.?
- Develop strategic account plans in collaboration with CS team that outline goals, milestones, and define customer journey for strategic clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a related role.?
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that effectively highlight the value of our offerings.?
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.?
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SFDC and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.?
- Travel to client locations as needed for in-person meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activities.?
- Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.?
Additional Qualifications that are nice to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
