The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. This position currently operates on a hybrid schedule with the expectation of working four (4) days per week in our Times Square office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive Assistant to the COO and CFO will be responsible for preparing and editing correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents on behalf of leadership, as well as serving as a liaison between the COO/CFO and internal staff, board members, and external stakeholders. This position will also provide administrative support to annual strategic and business planning processes.
The Executive Assistant will coordinate and prepare applications for risk management insurance, various business licenses, and permits. In addition, this position will maintain the Board management system and serve as a backup to the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO to manage logistics for board and committee meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit organization preferred
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Self-directed, organized, ability to prioritize and capable of handling multiple, complex projects
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Zoom

- Notary Public in the state of New York

This is a full-time hourly position based in the Entertainment Community Fund’s National Headquarters Office in Times Square, New York City.
