About the Role
Based at Anzac House in Perth CBD, you’ll be part of a dedicated team conducting health assessments and supporting medical screening processes for Defence candidates. This is a non-clinical, structured role focused on documentation, assessments, and compliance.
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday – no weekends, no shift work.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct phone-based vetting and in-person preliminary health assessments
• Review medical history forms and document findings in electronic records
• Guide and support Medical Screeners
• Review medical files and complete required reports
• Maintain clinical equipment
• Follow structured health procedures within Defence guidelines
About You
You’re a registered nurse who enjoys process-driven work and delivering consistent, high-quality care. You’re confident using digital systems and have a strong eye for detail.
To be considered, you must have:
• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 3+ years of broad nursing experience
• Working With Children Check (WA)
• Current CPR certification (HLTAD009)
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Australian Citizenship (required for Baseline Security Clearance)
Desirable (but not essential):
• Experience in pre-employment medicals or occupational health
• Defence background or experience working with Defence personnel
