The Role



To assist with the management of the Major Live Concert Service (MLCS), the collation and submission of International live performance claims, and the ongoing maintenance of the Live Concert Calculator.

 

Also assisting with the reporting of incoming revenues and identification of non-payments - initiating service level improvements where possible and identifying new business opportunities/process improvements.



The Live Team sits within the Membership department and focuses their time on royalties derived from live performances. The team’s primary focus is maintaining the Major Live Concert Service, MLCS™, as well as relationship management with our highest earning Live members and Live teams at affiliate societies around the globe.

Responsibilities:

As our Live Music Specialist, some of your day to day duties will include…

  • Ownership of the set list exchange process with over 50 overseas societies; identifying 'paid' and 'unpaid' activity and actively reducing inefficiencies between performances & society notifications
  • End to end management of all activity within a revenue claim; ensuring effective scheduling, event/tour identification, reporting & revenue accounting
  • Making claims where necessary and building effective customer relationship management and rapport with all overseas societies/contacts
  • Management of a portfolio of MLCS tours
  • Delivery of audits for MLCS tours, upon request

The Process


Our interview process for this role is simple:

  • First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.

  • Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

We use competency-based questions within our interviews. This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. To assist your preparation for interview, research the STAR method to aid bringing your examples to life.

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
