Micron is seeking a Senior Manager for Fab Support Operations and Material Operations to lead a dynamic team of engineers, leads, and material operations staff. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of Process Auxiliary Components (PAC) and other support equipment within our fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, optimize equipment performance, manage material storage and delivery, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This position also plays a key role in budget management, safety and quality compliance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop teams responsible for fab support operations and material handling across the facility.

  • Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of sub-fab equipment and PAC systems.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

  • Monitor equipment and material performance, resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to optimize production and material flow processes.

  • Oversee cost estimates and maintain departmental budgets aligned with operational goals.

  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of critical parts inventory.

  • Implement control procedures to monitor stock levels and reduce discrepancies.

  • Optimize warehouse layout and operations for efficient material retrieval and delivery.

  • Partner with Procurement, ISM, and Fab areas to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading equipment maintenance and material operations in a fab environment.

  • Excellent communication and multi-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech fabrication environments.

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

  • Familiarity with PAC systems and sub-fab equipment.

  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certification.

  • Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools.

  • Strong understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse optimization.
