General Function

The VP, Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management leads demand forecasting, inventory optimization & supply alignment for the NA Professional Solutions Frame Business. This executive ensures that market demand, product availability & operational readiness are seamlessly integrated to support business growth, profitability & customer satisfaction.

This leader establishes best-in-class planning practices that balance service levels, efficiency & speed-to-market across diverse product assortments. The role requires strategic foresight, operational precision & alignment of global supply capabilities with regional needs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Inventory & Demand Planning

  • Direct the demand planning & inventory strategy, ensuring product selection & timing align with demand & margin goals
  • Integrate market intelligence, historical data & business inputs into robust forecasting models that inform purchasing, investment & capacity decisions
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies that balance service levels, capital efficiency & lifecycle management across product categories & seasonal lines
  • Manage inventory risk through improved visibility, scenario modeling & contingency planning across global supply networks

Process Optimization & Project Management

  • Establish KPIs, analytics, & governance frameworks to elevate decision-making, forecast accuracy & operational transparency
  • Lead automation & modernization of planning & reporting processes through advanced tools (SAP, Excel macros & BI platforms)
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies & lead business-wide initiatives to standardize & improve planning processes across functions
  • Drive project management initiatives to optimize end-to-end planning & inventory operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives & contrasting stakeholder priorities

Organizational Design & Talent Leadership

  • Optimize organizational planning structure to ensure clarity, accountability & specialization
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on agility, ownership & collaboration
  • Develop & retain top planning talent; fostering skill development, career progression & knowledge-sharing across the team

Global Integration & Market Readiness

  • Act as the strategic interface between the NA market & global HQ for product launches, demand signals & operational readiness
  • Adapt global planning tools, methodologies & frameworks to meet the pace & complexity of the NA market
  • Ensure alignment across global & regional distribution centers for optimal inventory positioning & time-to-market

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or a related field
  • 12+ years of leadership experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting or end-to-end supply chain within wholesale, retail or consumer goods
  • 8+ years leading cross-functional & geographically distributed teams, with a strong record of building high-performing teams
  • Expertise in ERP platforms, demand planning tools, advanced Excel & BI/data automation platforms
  • Exceptional analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights
  • Proven ability to navigate & influence global relationships with HQ, supply chain partners & cross-regional stakeholders
  • Superior communication, stakeholder engagement & organizational change leadership skills across all levels of the business

 

Pay Range: 241,780.40  - 392,930.00 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
