The Assistant Store Manager at Impressions Boutique & Gifts plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and ensuring our boutique continues to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. This position has a strong focus on driving sales and delivering outstanding customer service while also helping maintain daily operations and a welcoming store environment. Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Actively drive sales on the floor by engaging with customers and promoting products.
- Support sales associates in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Motivate the team by setting a positive example in both sales and customer interactions.
Customer Service
- Provide a high level of personalized service to ensure every customer has a memorable experience.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and returns with professionalism and care.
- Coach associates on delivering consistent, boutique-level customer service.
Team Support & Operations
- Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, training, and mentoring team members.
- Help oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Maintain store standards through merchandising, restocking, and creating inviting displays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Store Manager on sales strategies, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with promotional events and seasonal floor set changes.
Requirements
Requirements
- 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong sales skills and a passion for connecting with customers.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Availability and willingness to work Saturdays.
- Hours of availability must fall between 9:30am – 6:30pm, Monday–Saturday, and on Sundays during the holiday season.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated to contribute to the boutique’s success.
