Moodle with us!

We're the world's most popular learning platform and we’re on a mission to empower educators to improve our world.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated People & Culture Specialist in Spain! This role will work closely with our global People & Culture team to provide administrative and operational support across all aspects of the HR function. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR administrator that wants to learn and develop their skills within a team of experienced HRBPs.

This is a contract position initially for 9 months (with the possibility of extension), and we are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

What your new job can look like…

At Moodle, no two days will ever be the same, but most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

  • Working closely with the People & Culture team to provide high quality administrative and operational support across the full employee life cycle. From creating onboarding plans to offboarding processes to benefits support and HR system maintenance, plus many (many) more.
  • Collaborating with the People & Culture Business Partners and Hiring Managers to support global recruitment activities to attract the very best talent to Moodle. Creating job ads, sourcing applicants, screening candidates and interviews, liaising with candidates and creating a positive candidate experience across the board.
  • Being the first point of contact for our Spain employees for payroll queries and office support for our Barcelona office.
  • Working closely with the greater P&C team to support, motivate, collaborate and champion Moodle’s workplace culture - we walk the talk!

Requirements

We'd love to meet you…

Especially if you have:

  • Experience in HR administration
  • Experience supporting payroll in Spain, and basic labour law queries
  • Experience with recruitment (preferable in-house) plus an understanding of ‘virtual’ recruitment processes, including using various interview techniques and evaluation methods, and Applicant Tracking Systems (like Workable)
  • Excellent organisation and time management, self-motivated, proactive and able to work autonomously
  • Fluent in English and in Spanish
  • The ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Reliable, flexible and adaptable with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels
