The Opportunity 

We’re currently seeking a strategic Centre Manager to join the Town Centres team to lead success at Stockland Point Cook located just 25km south-west of Melbourne CBD, our vibrant centre is a community hotspot for essential shopping, food and fashion. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and strategic direction of the centre. This includes ensuring the centre is maintained to a high standard, remains a strong performing retail destination, and continues to serve as a vibrant hub for tenants, customers, and the community.  

 

Your role 

As Centre Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team and oversee the seamless delivery of day-to-day operations. You will collaborate across key internal functions including Leasing, S-Connect, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio and Project Management to ensure, alignment and deliver a cohesive and customer-focused experience. Your duties will include: 

 

Asset Performance 

  • Manage the Centre’s financial operating budget and business plans, including forecasting, performance tracking, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Manage  
  • Maximise net profit through strategic revenue growth initiatives and effective cost management. 
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and manage both operational and capital budgets. 
  • Maintain strong debtor control and uphold financial discipline across all areas of the Centre’s operations.

 

Operational Management 

  • Track sales and traffic data, monitor tenant performance and drive centre commercial outcomes and tenant success 
  • Oversee centre operations including contractor performance, capital works, ensure compliance with safety and legal standards. 
  • Developing and maintaining strong communication lines with all Centre retailers, contractors, customers and local councils 

 

Innovation & Business Development 

  • Lead initiatives that drive organisational improvement and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify strengths and opportunities for enhancement. 

 

Culture & People 

  • Build a high-performing centre team by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. 
  • Foster capability through knowledge sharing and support team members in setting clear objectives and development plans. 

 

About You 

You bring over 5 years of proven experience in centre management, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering commercial results. Your ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes is matched by your expertise in project and financial management. 

 

We’re looking for someone who also offers: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, property, or a related field. 
  • A Real Estate Licence (preferred). 
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • A customer-first mindset, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
