Job Description:

We are expanding our team in Sydney and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Occupational Therapist Contractor to join us in making a positive impact in our community. 

We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists across Sydney with experience working with NDIS participants.

In this role you will:

  • Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities.
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants.
  • Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Active ABN.
