Position:    Accounting Clerk

Department:  Finance 

Location:   Folsom, California (Hybrid)

Compensation:  $24 to $26.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk will assist ConferenceDirect (the “Company”) with accounting functions to include accounts payable, reconciliation projects, and other matters. This foundational role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a good aptitude for numbers to support the accounting department's daily operations and ensure financial accuracy. The Accounting Clerk report to the Accounting Manager and requires in-office attendance with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after 90-day introductory period. 

Requirements

  

Responsibilities

· Monitor daily revenue recognition entries

· Manage bank reconciliations on a weekly basis

· Reconcile credit card accounts weekly

· Calculating and processing incentives based on Incentive agreements

· Prepare month end closing entries and journal entries as needed 

· Ensure all transactions have posted through to the general ledger 

· Perform balance sheet analysis monthly

· Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports 

· Assist with special projects 

· Assist other departments as needed 

· Other duties as assigned

Key Skills

Required Education and Experience

· 1-2 years relevant experience 

· Understanding of Microsoft Excel 

· Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


Preferred Experience 

· NetSuite experience 

· Hospitality industry (i.e. hotel or event planning)
