Job Summary


The Assistant Bulk Plant Manager reports to the Bulk Manager and is concurrently supported by the Regional Director, EHS Directors, Regional Transportation Director, and VP of Operations. The Assistant Plant Manager oversees the operations in his or her assigned plant and directly supervises all plant operators, office administrators, and reporting drivers. The Plant Manager, Regional Director, Transportation Director, and EHS Director are Director Level support positions for the Assistant Plant Manager. The three primary categories of responsibility for the Assistant Plant Manager are Profitability, Budgetary, Regulatory, Environmental Compliance, at the plant they are assigned to.


Duties/Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Achieve EBITDA Goals of your facility/facilities.

· Maintain an impeccable level of operational proficiency at the facility/facilities.

· Ensure budgetary compliance, by studying the weekly Project GPS trackers.

· Planning, Organizing and Prioritize

· Ensure your plant runs at maximum operating efficiency by studying delivery routes, ensuring trucks are running at

· maximum legal capacities.

· Continuously Improve Financial Performance at your plant, by understanding your plants P&L's

· Supplier and Customer Relationship Development

· Coaching and Team Building

· Personal and Professional Development

· Review Accounts Receivable reports and work with accounting to collect past due debts. Weekly

· Ensure all legal documents from vendors, suppliers, customers are always reviewed and approved by legal. Ad Hoc

· Work with EHS Director to evaluate the recordkeeping and licensing requirements for each regulating body at your facility.

· Ensure you are complying to the recommendations of the EHS Director.

· Perform monthly regulatory and compliance documentation, store in the designated files assigned by EHS Director. Monthly

· Ensure 24/7 coverage of facility

Requirements

Physical Environment:  

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.  

· Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. 

· Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions  

· Noise level may be moderate to high under certain testing circumstances   

  • May be exposed to some refined oil products containing chemicals that may be related to certain types of illnesses or reproductive toxicity. Some products emit vapors, are flammable, and may be explosive under certain circumstances.
  • Exposure to smells and fumes associated with refined petroleum products.
  • Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), composite-toed boots
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment and able to withstand extreme weather conditions

· MSHA 8

· OSHA 30

· FEMA I.C. 100 & 200

· CDL A
