SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Sr. Manager Recruiting is responsible for leading and managing the organization's recruitment and talent acquisition strategies. This leadership role involves overseeing a team of recruiters, developing recruitment policies and procedures, and collaborating with senior management to identify staffing needs.

You will be responsible for implementing effective sourcing strategies and ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pool. Additionally, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s talent acquisition strategy, managing recruitment budgets, and contributing to the overall success of the company’s talent management initiatives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the company 
  • Lead and manage the recruiting team, setting clear goals and performance standards 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs 
  • Oversee the creation and posting of job descriptions to attract qualified candidates 
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment strategies 
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance employer branding initiatives 
  • Negotiate contracts with recruitment agencies and other external service providers 
  • Stay informed about trends and innovations in talent acquisition and recruitment technology 
  • Implement best practices in diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process 
  • Design and manage the candidate selection process, including screening, interviewing, and assessment 
  • Develop and oversee employee onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires 
  • Organize recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruitment drives 
  • Manage the recruitment budget and ensure cost-effective hiring practices 
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the recruitment team 
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the recruitment and hiring processes 
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of corporate recruitment 
  • 5 years of supervisory experience 
  • You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks 
  • Like to build long term relationships with your customers 
  •  Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work in office, onsite, Monday-Friday 
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations

 

PREFERED

  • Knowledge of the Aviation Industry 
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
