Reports To: Housekeeping Manager

Job Overview 

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Supervisory Duties:  
  • Manage and lead a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. 
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback. 
  • Quality Control:  
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. 
  • Identify and address any issues promptly. 
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures. 
  • Inventory Management:  
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. 
  • Monitor usage and order supplies as needed. 
  • Guest Satisfaction:  
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Resolve guest issues and ensure their satisfaction. 
  • Administrative Tasks:  
  • Prepare reports on labor costs, supplies, and maintenance issues. 
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting. 
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
