Job Description:

Position pay range is $85k - $90k annually based on relevant experience.

We are seeking a LPN Nurse Leader to partner with our Executive Director in overseeing the daily operations of our Assisted Living department. In this role, you will blend clinical expertise with a strong commitment to wellness, dignity, and quality of life for each resident we serve.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with compassion and purpose as the nursing leader on staff, ensuring residents receive the right level of care tailored to their needs.

  • Complete and update annual and change-of-condition assessments.

  • Coordinate care: physician orders, appointments, labs, prescriptions, and ancillary services.

  • Build strong relationships with residents and families by hosting care conferences and providing ongoing support.

  • Support and guide your team: from interviewing and training to scheduling and performance management, ensuring coverage that supports both residents and staff well-being.

  • Champion wellness by weaving health programs into daily life and programming.

  • Collaborate with leadership to address challenges, celebrate successes, and continually improve the resident experience.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications & Experience                          

  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required, in good standing, in the state of employment.
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experienced with electronic medical database experience required.
  • 1 year experience in an Assisted Living setting.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills

 Working Conditions / Physical Requirements     

  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals, blood borne pathogens and other communicable diseases
  • Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
