Position: General Services Associate
Department: Facilities Management
Status: Full Time
Position Summary:
General Services provides coordination, support and setup for campus special events. Respond to furniture moves and other work requests as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive work requests and complete daily assignments as a member of the General Services Group.
Perform setups for campus events.
Complete requests for furniture move across campus
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA), FERPA and other state and federal mandates.

Education/Experience:
High School education or GED preferred.
Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired
Must have a valid NC Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Functional knowledge of computer skills.
Familiarity with email and work order management software.
Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public.
Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
Exercise good judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations.
Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to work in a changing environment
Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours as needed
