Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and drivability concerns. ASE certifications are highly desired, and candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality work, safety, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, focusing on electrical and drivability issues.
- Conduct inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, equipment, and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Perform routine services such as brake jobs, fluid services, and tune-ups as needed.
- Document repair work performed and communicate findings with service advisors and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technology, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or formal automotive training preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an auto technician preferred.
- ASE certifications desired (Electrical, Engine Performance, and related areas strongly preferred).
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proven background in electrical systems and drivability diagnostics.
- Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
