Staff Accountant bei Triad Adult & Pediatric Medicine

Position Summary:

The duties of this position are to implement, analyze, and appraise the effectiveness of the policies and guidelines established by upper management for the operations of Triad Adult & Pediatric Medicine in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.

The employee is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices to include coding, processing, and research. In addition, the employee is responsible for accurate and timely processing of daily cash receipts.

Accountant Essential Functions:

• Enter and reconcile accounts payable invoices in both Bill.com and MIP Cloud.
• Process vendor payments in Bill.com or process manual checks to vendors as necessary.
• Maintain required records, reports, and files.
• Research and validate discrepancies and resolve vendor billing issues.
• Prepare, post, verify, and record daily receivable deposits and transactions.
• Participate in month-end close activities (journal entries, allocation and estimates, correction of errors).
• Prepare required audit work and reports and assist auditors as needed.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Participate in staff, and other local, regional, and national meetings relevant to the operation and management of the organization.
• Assist Management with special projects as requested.
• Abide by all company policies.

Preparation and Training: 

Job duties require a four-year college degree in business administration, preferably with a concentration in public health administration, finance and/or accounting.   Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, along with a good understanding of computer applications.   Must maintain a valid NC drivers license for outside travel

Experience:

With the above education and skills, we require, 1-3 years of experience in the accounting/finance files with experience in health services and specialized medical coding and billing a plus.
