What You'll be Doing:

Support students in academic enrichment and behavior management after school.
Provide one-on-one or group tutoring to reinforce classroom learning, helping students with homework, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Oversee students, ensuring they adhere to behavioral guidelines and complete their assigned tasks.

What We Offer:

Pay: $45.00 per hour or per diem, whichever is lower
Supplemental Contract

Job Details:

Working days: 1 day per week
Hours per day: up to 3 hours
Temporary for the 2025.2026 school year
Up to 4 positions available
- One position for each workday (Monday through Thursday).

What You'll Need:

Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in job-related area.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate. Must meet WA State Certification Criteria.
Minimum qualifications: Relates well with students, parents and peers. Must have excellent classroom control. Willingness and ability to work in a team environment. Willingness and ability to work at district and building level in developing curriculum. An enthusiastic, creative and resourceful motivator of students. Willingness to work with students outside the classroom environment, i.e. club advisor, class advisor, etc. Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times. Must be goal oriented (long range and short range).

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
