CYHS Auditorium Stage Technician bei Central York School District

Central York School District is seeking a skilled and motivated Stage Technician to support events and activities in our high school and middle school auditoriums and performing arts facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring the successful operation of performances, concerts, and community rentals, while maintaining a safe and professional environment for all users.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical staffing and support for concerts, theatrical performances, assemblies, and outside rentals in the auditorium and performing arts wing.
• Serve as lighting and/or sound board operator for school and rental events.
• Supervise the use of theatrical equipment, including curtains, line sets, set pieces, wireless microphones, lighting instruments, and other stage elements.
• Maintain stage and auditorium spaces, including cleaning, organizing equipment, focusing lights, and setting/clearing the stage before and after events.
• Assist the Performing Arts Facilities Coordinator in supporting the overall health, safety, and functionality of the theater spaces.

• Experience with theatrical lighting, sound systems, and stage operations preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot lighting and sound boards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and outside organizations.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, depending on performance and rental schedules.
• Any combination of special training, education, experience, and background that would enhance appropriate skills in the management of technology.
• Must have ( or willing to obtain) current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint History Background Clearances.

Pay: $24.00 per hour with a minimum of two hours (overtime pay if working over eight (8) consecutive hours).
