Aide, Ready-Set-Learn

Employment Term (days):  187

Pay Scale:  Paraprofessional/Clerical - 3

Primary Purpose:

Assist Ready-Set-Learn Teacher and Social, Emotional, Behavior Support (SEBS) Specialist in providing positive behavioral support and interventions.

Assist teacher in management of classroom activities.

Work under the supervision of the Ready-SetLearn Teacher and district MTSS Specialist.

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/Certifications:

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Must obtain Educational Aide Certification if have less than 30 hours of college credit

Experience:

Work with children in a behavioral setting (Preferred)

PK classroom experience (preferred)

ABA training (Preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work well with children who are experiencing behavioral challenges

Ability to adjust to flexible working assignment on the campus on a daily basis as needed

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional training will be required upon hiring
