About the Role

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts in accordance with company specifications, processes, and time standards. You�ll play a key role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring safety, efficiency, and top-quality results.

What You�ll Do

  • Examine and evaluate damaged vehicles to plan efficient, high-quality repairs.

  • Communicate repair status with management and team members through all phases.

  • Notify management promptly of any issues that may impact repair quality or delivery timelines.

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, using them safely at all times.

  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

  • Consistently wear required safety and health PPE (including eye protection).

  • Assist other shop personnel with repair and prepping tasks when needed.

  • Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal).

What We�re Looking For

  • Solid working knowledge of auto body repair processes, techniques, and materials with 1�3+ years of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle structure for removing and replacing damaged components.

  • Physical ability to perform lifting (35 lbs average, up to 70 lbs occasionally).

  • Agility and coordination for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment with high attention to detail.

Preferred Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Driver�s License

  • I-CAR and ASE Certifications (preferred but not required)
