We are looking for a Development Director to join the Frostbite Technical Direction team. As a Development Director, you will emphasize people, process, and planning and play a central role in maintaining the cohesion of our teams.Frostbite is EA's proprietary game engine, equipped with many tools and technologies designed to build incredible games. Our in-house engine offers the unique ability to adapt to each game while working hand-in-hand to prioritize what to build. Our goal is to empower creators all over the world to bring their best ideas to life by creating an engine that amplifies innovation across every discipline.ResponsibilitiesOversee deliveries, including managing risks, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple teams..Manage planning for multiple projects internally and externally.Coordinate tasks across diverse internal and external teams, spanning multiple locations, time zones, and cultures.Partner with the other team leaders to create a creative, collaborative, diverse and inclusive environment, promoting a culture of learning and success.Identify and address personnel conflicts, fostering a positive team dynamic.Foster the team’s adoption and acceptance of change.Experiences and CapabilitiesYou have 5+ years of project management and team leadership experience.You have 3+ years of experience using Agile project management methodology.You are experienced in project planning, capacity planning, dependency and risk management, including mitigation techniques.You are experienced in building and managing high-performing software development teams.You enjoy helping individuals grow through coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
