Mission:
- Lead the Human Resources function
Responsibilities:
Manage all functions within the Human Resources Department which also include: Wellness, Recruitment, Employee Development, Payroll, and Benefits. Develop and implement Human Resources systems, policies, and procedures based upon the Antolin guidelines.
Ensure that all policies and procedures are enforced equally, fairly, and consistently and lead by example.
Manage all Human Resources activities relative to labor needs per the business plan utilizing the Employee Request System (ERS), and Success Factors, which includes recruitment, staffing, temporary services providers, hiring, and retention.
Ensure compliance from an HR, perspective with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. Build, develop, and maintain effective relations with employees.
Compile, analyze, and report out at daily Manager Staffing Meeting the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual key performance indicator (KPI) data and implement continuous improvement plans based upon data.
Provide counseling, leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other Managers, Supervisors, and the HR Department team to maintain a balanced level of positive employee relations.
Inform, promote, and support employees on utilization of the Open Door Policy.
Prepare annual department budget and manage within that budget.
Participate in annual benefit renewal process.
Participate in the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) process, implement action plans for improvement and communicate the changes, improvements, and closure of open action items at Town Hall meetings.
Ensure the confidentiality of the HR Department and that all employee files and records are properly and securely maintained.
Lead and conduct the annual performance review process for all employees.
Participate in internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with all requirements (SP, QMS, IATF, etc.).
Plan and coordinate employee morale events such as parties, family events and spirit days.
Monitor division workers compensation claims and oversee claim management to ensure a timely return to work whenever possible with minimal cost.
Communicate with group legal advisors as necessary to minimize risks and ensure proper actions / decisions are made when dealing with sensitive situations.
Maintain and regularly update salary employee organizational charts.
Maintain salary exempt and non-exempt personnel files.
Assist with the suggestion program.
Develop and maintain job descriptions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years' related experience in Human Resources role' preferably in Manufacturing
- Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
- Strong team building and leadership skills combined with strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Must be very organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to navigate freely in manufacturing plant environment.
- Manage time effectively.
