SUMMARY: This position may be responsible for answering telephone inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate personnel; greeting job applicants and verifying that applications are complete and accurate; checking references and previous employment history of prospective Team Members; posting job opportunities and answering questions regarding job openings; scheduling interviews; distributing department mail; completing forms and typing memos correspondence and meeting minutes; entering new hire rehire termination and Team Member change information into the system s ; assisting with new Team Member orientation; answering Team Member questions regarding payroll policies benefits etc.; handling employment verifications for current and past Team Members; ensuring driver DOT compliance including file maintenance coordinating driver physicals and CDL renewals providing written documentation for DOT related accidents and calculating records to determine driver safety awards; compiling data and generating reports; maintaining confidential personnel records; ordering supplies; and any other duties as assigned. Difficulty Of Duties: Work involves occasional non-routine assignments. Requires some judgment in the selection of standard procedures from among several that apply to the job. Includes organizing work and selecting appropriate methods to complete tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous administrative experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including using SAP and HRS systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Operate and control the distribution of product to dedicated lines
  • Setup MX line recipe for directing cuts to different production lines
  • Changing the MX line recipe throughout the day based of bird quality, mechanical issues and other challenges while following the productions plan
  • Prevent case shortages and overruns for sales orders
  • Timely reporting to maintenance of mechanical issues
  • Control Lot and Julian Code changes between Fabrication and Packaging
  • Control the movement of product combos and lots onto the production lines
  • Control line speeds on the Fabrication floor for Tray lines and MX lines
  • Gather data for the MX Line, work-in-progress and the end of day make
  • All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Experience following a production plan or similar plant experience
  • Knowledge of production operations and experience communicating with multiple departments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate both written and verbal
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language to communicate
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and be self motivated
  • Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

            Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate

  • Stand/Walk: Occasionally
  • Lift/Carry:  Occasionally: (1- 10 lbs.) Rarely: (up to 42lbs)
  • Simple/Firm Grasping:  Occasionally
  • Other Physical Requirements:
    • Bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.): Rarely
  • Environment:  Occasionally - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold environment (28-34 degrees F).
