Accounting Intern (Part-Time) bei OSI Systems - Corporate

OSI Systems is seeking a part-time Accounting intern able to work 15-25 hours per week to support the team in various projects. 

• Assisting AP Co-Ordinator with reports, statements, data analysis, and audits backups.
• Working with other departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data.
• Interaction with vendors to resolve payment issues and answer queries on payment follow up and gathering vendor banking information and tax forms when needed during vendor setups and vendor records update.
• Reconciling credit card and bank transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handling payments of vendors and suppliers and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements on weekly basis.
• Accurately entering invoice and general ledger data into the accounting records.
• Verifying entries and balances to ensure accuracy in financial reporting during every month end closing.
• Working with OSI Interco partners.
• Calling and follow up Internal and external Vendors for AP and other related matters.

• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid the recurrence of the problem.
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have good organization skills
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Self-motivated
