Position: Pre-Authorization Representative
Shift: Full-Time. Day Shift-8:00am-4:30pm. In-office 5 days a week.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in a hospital, healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
Education:
High school diploma / GED Required. Associate Degree preferred.

You will analyze clinical documents, perform a variety of document processing functions and obtain relevant medical records, as well as duties related to precertification of Oncology testing and treatment, including radiology studies, chemotherapy including: oral, infused and injectable medications, radiation therapy and prescription medications. Open and sort incoming mail. Receive, sorts and organize all incoming faxes, and scan correspondence, labs, and testing into the document imaging system. You will fulfill all medical records requests in a timely fashion. Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to multi-task, triage and realign priorities, while processing a strong focus on customer service. Demonstrate an aptitude for computer work and problem-solving, and the ability to facilitate a seamless and virtual environment due to geographic location.
