Why Optus?

We are a business fuelled by optimism, unwavering customer focus and a team of amazing people.

And that’s where we come in…. “the amazing people” part!

We don’t sit back and wait for the future to happen, we are out there crafting our own path through new technology, innovation, and investment. We are truly a challenger brand, with challenger spirit.

In your role as Process Redesign Specialist, you will work closely with the business on an 18 to 24 month fixed term contract to identify key areas for improvement that drive an increase in customer experience through transforming underlying processes. You will use your creative thinking, process improvement and problem-solving skills to help size, scope and recommend improvements. You will spend time understanding the needs of customers and employees, mapping and analysing current process performance and designing and delivering solutions to ensure customer and employee needs are met.

A formal certification in process improvement and redesign (eg Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt) is highly desirable. Proven experience leading or supporting complex redesign initiatives that deliver measurable benefits for customers and employees is essential.

Your day to day will consist of...

  • Partner with Process Owners and other members of the Process Centre of Excellence to understand and analyse current state process performance
  • Work with business owners to design and implement future state process solutions
  • Recommend and size opportunities to uplift process performance and improve customer experience
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and scope new projects

Optus is a place where we let you do you. We offer a range of benefits including:

  • 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
  • Competitive leave including 2 additional 'Connected Leave' Days
  • All Optus employees have access to resources, webinars and support via the ‘Parents at Work portal’
