About You

We're excited to find a Creative Team Lead who not only possesses the right qualifications but also has the passion to elevate our creative vision at Journey Beyond. With relevant Graphic Design or Marketing qualifications and over three years of experience in a Creative Manager or Head Creative Design role, you are well-prepared to guide our talented team.

You boast strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate, enabling you to breathe life into your ideas. Your expertise in typography and layout for brochures, magazines, and catalogues ensures a polished and professional finish, while your familiarity with prepress processes, including digital and offset printing, keeps everything print-ready. You excel at creating standout print-ready artwork and marketing materials, including packaging and outdoor signage.

Additionally, you have experience crafting engaging digital assets such as animated HTML5 content, GIFs, and integrative PDFs, adding a vibrant touch to our campaigns. With excellent interpersonal skills, you work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and adapt seamlessly to changing project requirements. Your high attention to detail ensures quality in every project, and you thrive in fast-paced environments, managing tight deadlines without sacrificing creativity.

Strong communication skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset, make you an outstanding team player ready to lead and inspire.

  

About The Role

You will have the opportunity to steer our creative vision, ensuring all output aligns seamlessly with our brand and marketing objectives. If you thrive in a collaborative environment full of creativity and innovation, this role is perfect for you!

As the Creative Team Lead, you'll not only manage the workflow of our talented Creative Team but also be at the forefront of branding, graphic design services, and asset management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the charge on all Journey Beyond and associated brand creative.
  • Collaborating with talented photographers, web developers, and our brand agency to develop and produce captivating campaign and brand material.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to bring fresh ideas to life, from ideation and brainstorming sessions to developing compelling Brand Creative Platforms and Visual Identities.
  • Creating stunning graphics and assets for both digital and print mediums, utilising your skills to craft creative that pops!

 

You’ll maintain brand consistency by designing, developing, and upholding our brand guidelines. You will also manage our Digital Asset Management library (Canto), keeping everything organised and accessible. Staying ahead of the latest trends and innovations in the creative space will enable you to identify new opportunities and keep our strategies fresh and relevant.

In this role, you’ll report on the performance and output of the Creative Team, manage budgets, and provide insightful analysis on creative expenses. Additionally, building and nurturing relationships with creative suppliers—including printers, sign writers, web developers, videographers, and photographers—will be essential as you provide creative assistance and support for various projects and key stakeholder presentations.

Based at our head office in Adelaide additionally, this is the tourism industry so your willingness to travel across the breathtaking landscapes of Australia will be invaluable.
