Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Executive and Senior Advisors in the areas Reliability Engineering and Asset Management to join our Business Advisory Asset Management team

The Executive and Senior Advisors will principally provide reliability engineering, asset management and operational readiness consulting services to asset intensive organisations - Mining, Heavy Industry, Energy and Water sectors

With a strong focus on front line operational efficiency consulting, productivity improvement and driving real impact on operational excellence, you will thrive in this engaging environment.

We have opportunities in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Perth and Adelaide

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Using your expertise in the mining, manufacturing and resources industries to successfully complete infrastructure asset management projects using your knowledge of the sector and by maximising industry contacts.
• Develop or lead data and system solutions to improve the operational management and strategy of physical infrastructure in asset intensive organisations.
• Build positive and lasting relationships in the market and internally within GHD.
• Act as a trusted advisor, using your experience and knowledge to advise on optimal courses of action and deliver an outstanding client service.
• Develop asset and maintenance management strategies, provide reliability engineering expertise, conduct data analysis, review business and operational processes and systems and enable AM / MM and Reliability Engineering knowledge transfer and capability development - for clients
• Work collaboratively and effectively with team members to plan project resources and pursuits and deliver best in class solutions for our clients.
• Help clients to gain confidence that their projects are being well managed and in safe hands with you and GHD.

What you will bring to the team:

• Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Mining, manufacturing or resources industry experience in a recognised consulting asset management, maintenance, operations environment.
• Extensive experience in the application of Reliability Engineering and Maintenance strategies.
• Experience in Operational Readiness, Care and Maintenance and Decarbonisation is also highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills backed by strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Commercially astute and demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding client experiences coupled with both technical and commercial performance on projects.
• Proactive, professional, collaborative and personable approach.
• Effective and proven business development, networking and client relationship management skills.
• A good understanding and application of ISO 55000 Series and relevant industry guidance (IAM, GFMAM, IIMM)
