Senior Manager Performance – Retail Technology 

  • Permanent Full Time Role; Sydney/Melbourne based / Hybrid & Flexible Working.

  • You will play a key role in driving & supporting delivery of strategic initiatives with the aim of brilliant customer engagement and an aligned omni-channel experience.

The Retail Technology Performance team is a high performing team focused on delivering strategic priorities aligned to our core customer goals and objectives 

We work in partnership with our technology colleagues and business stakeholders to implement strategic priorities that support the aspirations of the Retail Technology. 

Do work that matters: 

  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned to supporting Strategy & Performance and Retail Technology. 

  • Leverage from the group delivery framework to support timely and quality delivery of projects. 

  • Deliver tangible outcomes against established baseline i.e. uplift to shareholder, customer, colleague and risk outcomes 

  • Collaborate with our Leadership teams  

  • Collaborate within Retail Technology to deliver on strategic and operational goals. 

  • Demonstrate Business Empathy as evidence by deliberate time spent with our frontline colleagues and key stakeholders. 

  • Effective Stakeholder engagement across PACE Tech crews, Finance, HR, Performance, Supplier Management, and Technology leadership. 

We’re interested in hearing from people who have 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – ability to communicate to senior stakeholders in a compelling, engaging manner. 

  • Experience in cost management, workforce strategy and management, supplier management. 

  • Demonstrable analytical and strategic experience in financial services, management consulting strategy or a bank in-house strategy or PACE team. 

  • A passion for optimising business processes and supporting delivery of innovation in financial services 

  • Experience in Agile ways of working and application of the Group Delivery Framework  

  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively for self and team 

  • A risk mindset – all CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
