Spatial Services,
a division of the Department of Customer Service is the key provider of spatial
land information services in New South Wales.
Spatial Services'
integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of
land and property services including property information, surveying and
mapping.
Spatial Services'
provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government
agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and
internationally.
About the role:
As the Principal Solutions Architect you will lead the
design, evaluation, and implementation of enterprise-level technology
solutions.
You are an experienced architect with a proven ability to
translate complex business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate
effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and take pride in
delivering architecture that balances innovation, sustainability and usability.
In this role, you will ensure that systems and services
meet business and customer needs
while aligning with organisational and technology strategies.
As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will
collaborate with cross- functional teams to design innovative, sustainable
solutions that deliver outstanding user experiences and long-term value.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Deep expertise in solution architecture across diverse technologies and platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in leading solution design and ensuring architectural compliance
- Proven track record in delivering complex ICT solutions in large or government environments
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at 149,739 base plus superannuation
