As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a fully bi-lingual Inside Sales Representative and be part of our Sales Team team in Itaim Bibi - São Paulo, Brazil. 

 

Objective:To deliver exceptional service through every stage of the customer journey.  Collaborating closely with the Outside Sales team, the role involves nurturing and strengthening profitable relationships with both new and existing customers.

Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.

 

Job qualifications and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (COMEX preferable).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (metals industry is a plus).
  • English language skills advanced level required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP system.
  • Power BI proficiency is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes quotes for both the Americas and European production facilities based on each facility’s unique product offerings as applicable.
  • Provides accurate and proactive order status updates to customers.
  • Releases order for shipment and generates invoices if applicable.
  • Troubleshooting/problem-solving – late orders, missing paperwork, logistics issues, production related issues, concessions, etc.
  • Reconciles invoice discrepancies.
  • Enters and modifies orders for the applicable manufacturing facilities in scope.
  • Enters orders for export.
  • Serves as a liaison between multiple internal departments and the customer.
  • Document control.
  • Provides customers with information regarding lead times, in process order status and delivery information.
  • Creates customer configurations according to technical and test requirements.
  • Creates detailed customer forecast (if applicable, depending on customer/segment).
  • Enters and invoices credits, debits, and tariffs (if applicable, depending on the mill).
  • Enters internal purchase orders (If applicable, depending on customer/segment).

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform repetitive movements when using computer equipment, including keyboard and mouse.
  • Remain sitting for prolonged periods (6-8 hours) with the possibility of alternating with standing.
  • Ability to speak and listen clearly in quiet or noisy environments.
  • Frequent reaching and manipulating objects with hands and arms.
  • Walk frequently within the office and plant, go up and down stairs, stoop or bow as necessary.
  • Review documents in digital and physical format with a high level of visual precision.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 20 kg occasionally.
  • Maintain flexibility and ability to shift between different tasks and locations within the plant and office.
  • Ability to be transported by land or air means; willing to face long waiting and transfer times, both on national and international trips.

 

Salary range: BRL 5,357.14 - 6,692.85 monthly.
