Linux Administrator (ONSITE) bei Cognizant

As Linux Administrator, you will make an impact by focusing on optimizing and maintaining our systems. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with Healthcare teams. 

In this role, you will: 

• Lead the administration and optimization of Linux systems ensuring high availability and performance.
• Oversee the implementation of system updates and patches to maintain security and compliance.
• Provide technical expertise in Medicare and Medicaid Claims ensuring systems align with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system enhancements.
• Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office Minneapolis, MN

What you need to have to be considered

• Possess a strong background in Linux Administration specifically RHEL SLES and OEL.
• Demonstrate expertise in Medicare and Medicaid Claims processing and management.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Show proficiency in scripting languages for automation and process improvement.
• Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $37,804– $74,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
