Responsibilities
- Create “Splash Pages” for flaglerathletics.com;
- Develop videos for interviews, facilities, special interest stories, highlights, promotions, and advertisements;
- Manage the Flagler Athletics social media websites and generate increased fan involvement;
- Coordinate marketing efforts, in-game promotions, and advertisements of Flagler Athletics game days, fan shop, and all other events as assigned;
- Generate human-interest stories of Flagler student-athletes, coaches, and staff;
- Create team posters, media brochures, media cards, game flyers, info graphics, and all other promotional items;
- Assist with generating brand awareness of Flagler College Athletics;
- Assist with special projects and events as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics.
- Have specific team responsibilities assigned by the Sports Information Director;
- Will be responsible for in-game stats, press releases, pre-game scripts, and game programs for sports assigned;
- Assist in broadcasting and video of all home Flagler athletic events;
- Assign photographer for scheduled games; compiling photos;
- Work closely with print media from local, regional and national outlets as well as the Gargoyle, the College’s campus newspaper;
- Nominate student-athletes for weekly conference and national awards;
- All other duties as assigned by the Sports Information Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, sports management, journalism or related field.

- Master’s degree;
- Minimum 2 years working in communications within a collegiate athletics department or related venue;
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud, StatCrew software, and web platforms (Sidearm, Presto).
- Works consistently during nights and on weekends
- Works regularly outdoors and in tight spaces (press box, scorer’s table, etc.)
