The Job
We are looking for an experienced Brand Director to lead the development and execution of evo’s brand strategy, planning, and engagement programs. This role is responsible for shaping how the evo family of brands show up across our ecosystem—ensuring a seamless, compelling, and customer-centric brand experience. As Brand Director, you will oversee a talented team of brand managers, social media, and creatives, driving brand engagement across snow, bike, travel and hospitality categories, key retail moments, community events, and activations.
This role will champion new ways to introduce evo to new audiences while deepening loyalty with our existing community. With customer-first mindset, this role is highly focused on bringing the evo brand to life in engaging, innovative, and authentic ways collaborating across teams in Canada, Japan, and the U.S. to build a globally connected brand presence

The Opportunity
Brand Management
- Develop and execute brand strategy, annual brand planning, and brand engagement programs that grow evo’s presence, drive customer engagement.
- Oversee brand creative and content budgets, and allocate investments to moment and stories that support brand and business goals.
- Oversee the strategy for brand and product storytelling that drives sales for our north American business.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across evo’s family of brands, defining how they show up in the market and how customers experience them across our ecosystem.
- Champion customer-first brand storytelling, driving innovative ways to bring evo to new and existing audiences.
- Establish and own brand health dashboard and ongoing brand health KPI’s
- Build, lead and continually develop a high-performing team working in concert to improve evo’s overall brand performance
Planning & Operations
- Lead brand planning (calendar, briefs, and engagement plans) across snow, bike, travel & hospitality, categories, key retail moments, community events, and activations to drive deeper customer connection.
- Oversee the strategy and execution of social media, brand content, and creative storytelling that resonates with evo’s community and drives brand awareness and engagement.
- Drive leadership and cross-functional alignment around the key elements of the evo brand story and how we bring them to life.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, retail, e-commerce, and product teams to create seasonal brand strategies that supports our products/assortment goals.
- Work closely with teams across Canada, Japan, and the U.S. to ensure stories are amplified globally, and that brands connect globally while maintaining regional authenticity.
- Equip, empower and guide on-brand storytelling from local teams.
Innovation & Growth
- Identify new and emerging ways to grow evo’s brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty through storytelling, partnerships, and activations.
- Collaborate with external partners, athletes, and community leaders to amplify evo’s brand presence.
- Champion a culture of creativity, innovation, and customer obsession within the team.
Requirements
The Must Haves
- 10+ years of brand leadership experience, in a retail, sports, or lifestyle brand.
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams across brand planning, content, creative, and social media.
- Proven track record of leading global brand strategy, planning, and engagement programs that drive meaningful customer connections.
- Deep understanding of brand, retail, community engagement, and customer experience strategies in a global landscape.
- Effortlessly can balance business goals (revenue) with brand goals
- Deep passion for ski, snowboard, bike, and outdoor culture—with a pulse on the evolving needs of the community.
- Excellent ability to collaborate, lead through influence, engage and align partners
- Strong emotional intelligence and authentic leader

The Nice to Haves
- Experience working across North American and international markets (Canada, Japan, U.S.) is a plus.

The base wage for this role ranges from $133,00.00/yr to $160,000.00/yr. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
