Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leisure Sales Manager to drive market growth and strengthen our presence within key corporate and leisure segments. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing targeted accounts, and executing sales initiatives that align with the estate’s branding and revenue objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on cultivating relationships with key corporate, leisure, wholesale, and tour & travel partners domestically and internationally.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive travel schedule for sales calls, trade shows, and industry events to foster business development and brand awareness.
  • Oversee daily coordination with agency accounts, collaborating with hotel teams and Revenue Management to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing training programs for hotel staff to ensure consistency in service and sales approaches.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers, delivering measurable and sustainable results.
  • Possess a broad understanding of international source markets and leverage this knowledge for targeted sales efforts.
  • Implement communication programs to engage and expand the key account database.
  • Support wholesale account strategies through agent training, special events, and active participation in trade shows.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and marketing plans.
  • Organize and participate in familiarization trips (FAM trips) to promote the estate’s offerings.
  • Create compelling booking incentives for low-demand periods.
  • Deep understanding of luxury guest expectations and 5-star service delivery.
  • Provide input into the guest journey, pre-arrival touchpoints, and post-stay engagement to enhance guest loyalty
  • Identify and execute key selling strategies to position the estate effectively within partner networks.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities, serving as a role model for the sales team and other hotel departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; active membership in relevant associations preferred.
  • 3-5 years of luxury hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on the Tour & Travel segment.
  • A robust portfolio of leisure customers and strong relationships with leading travel consortia
  • Deep understanding of luxury guest expectations and 5-star service delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of the designated geographic markets and the ability to travel efficiently within the territory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the patience, tact, and diplomacy required to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong forecasting, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • This position is non-remote; candidates must be able to work onsite at the estate.
