Summary of Position
The Harvest Clerk I primarily performs a variety of administrative tasks to support the Human Resources department in the production of pistachio & almond products. These tasks may include performing duties in HR Administration, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and at the Reception Desk. Harvest Clerk I plays a vital role in their contribution to the overall goals of the Human Resources department.
Duties & Responsibilities
(You may be asked to perform some, or all the duties described below)
- Perform various support functions for all areas of the Human Resources Department, including but not limited to HR Administration, Employee Relations, Recruiting and Reception Desk.
- Ensure complete confidentiality of all Human Resources information and documentation.
- Interact with and provide superior HR customer service to all employees of the organization.
- Collect, scan, and route miss punch forms to the office.
- Scan and file, sort checks, and any items listed in the attachment that are not crossed out.

- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).

- Knowledge of basic mathematical functions specific to addition and subtraction.
- Entry level computer skills.
- Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company related meetings as assigned.
- Observe all “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s food safety policy.
Requirements
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
- Up to 1 year of related experience recommended.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and condensed work areas. The employee may also be exposed to dust particles.
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to temperatures above 90 and below 40 degrees. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The dust levels in the work environment are usually high. (Safety protection provided).
- The employee may spend 50% or more of their work hours on the plant floor.
