QCU is seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of our branch and provide strong leadership to the teller and retail staff. This role is responsible for overseeing branch activities, coaching staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor teller staff performance, ensuring high levels of service and accuracy.
• Train and mentor new branch personnel; prepare and manage work schedules.
• Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of direct reports.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet operational goals.
• Review and make decisions on department recommendations from retail team members.
• Monitor branch operations to ensure adherence to procedures and proactively address any issues.
• Assist staff in balancing transactions and processing loan applications when needed.
• Complete member transactions and service requests as necessary.
• Promote credit union services to new and existing members to grow business.
• Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell products and services.
• Resolve customer account issues promptly and effectively.
• Manage branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or finance preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in a financial institution, with some supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred.

· Strong knowledge of credit union products, services, and branch operations.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

· Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
