Position Profile
Weaver’s Health Care Valuation, Consulting & Advisory practice is looking for an experienced Analyst to join our growing team. This team member will take ownership of projects under the supervision of more experienced team members, while performing fair market value studies for physician compensation and/or management service arrangements. They will also be responsible for financial planning and analytical services such as developing pro formas, budgeting and various ad hoc analysis. They are detail-oriented, communicative, curious, enthusiastic and can demonstrate composure under fast-pace client deadlines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work directly with our clients to establish and maintain good working relationships.
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Relevant certifications beneficial (i.e. CFA, ASA, CPA/ABV, ASA, CVA, CEIV, etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience in valuation or audit, with a strong desire to pursue a career focused on the health care industry
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and strong communication skills internally and externally
- Resourceful and enjoys problem solving
- Extremely detail-oriented individual with strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fluid working environment
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience developing detailed financial pro formas and budgeting
- Experience or familiarity with performing fair market value studies for physician compensation and / or management service arrangements
