A leading professional networking company seeks an Insights Associate Program Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking our dataset and using it to build and maintain scalable insights solutions to support the business. The company offers a great work environment!
Insights Associate Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Leverage our unique data used to power innovative tools to address business challenges.
- Write SQL/Presto/Trino/Spark queries to extract the necessary data and leverage data visualization tools such as Tableau to present the information.
- Take existing queries or dashboards and optimize them to run more efficiently/consistently while building in automated checks and controls to proactively flag any problems.
- Handle incoming support requests to ensure our end users experience is bug-free and efficient.
- Evangelize the use of data in sales and represent the voice of our customers.
Insights Associate Program Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data storytelling, turning data into insights and presenting to internal and/or external stakeholders
- 2+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools to query large data-sets (e.g. Presto/Trino, Spark SQL, Tableau, etc.)
- BA/BS degree is preferred.
- Previous experience working in AI models and interest in learning is preferred.
- Experience with product, data engineering, or sales analytics and/or data science is preferred.
- Experience using JIRA or other issue management and support ticket platforms is preferred.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority is preferred.
- Experience with project management is preferred.
- Strong business acumen, creative problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and desire & ability to learn is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of SQL – excited about opportunities to optimize/tune queries joining datasets with billions of rows and optimize performance is preferred.
- Knowledge of Hadoop (Presto/Spark), git, & Tableau is preferred.
- Ability to provide a business lens to analytical and technical problems is preferred.
- Ability to build alliances across the company is preferred.
- Ability to translate user feedback into tool requirements is preferred.
