Our Engine Mechanics perform overhauls on TFE731 and CFE738 turbofan engines (all models). This includes engine disassembly, inspection, identifying and correcting discrepancies, engine builds, and engine performance testing.
What you'll do:
- Perform turbofan overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly in MRO test cell environment.
- Inspect engine parts upon removal, taking measurements to match upon re-assembly utilizing calipers, borescopes, and micrometers.
- Evaluates removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
- Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
- Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directive.
- Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, promoting, and continuously improving company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Career Levels & Qualifications
We are hiring at multiple levels. Placement will be based on qualifications and experience:
1) Entry-Level Mechanic
- Must be able to attain an FAA A&P License within 3 months of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
2) Licensed Mechanic I
- Active FAA A&P License.
- Formal AMT training from an accredited technical school, OEM, or military program.
3) Licensed Mechanic II
- Active FAA A&P License.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic
- Experience inspecting, servicing, or overhauling turbine engines.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Experience maintaining, inspecting or overhauling TFE 731 and/or CFE 738 engines.
- Factory authorized / OEM training or certifications (Honeywell).
